Step 1 : Create a New MySQL User

  1. Log in to cPanel.

  2. Go to the DATABASES section and click MySQL® Databases.

  3. Scroll to Add New User, enter a username and password.

    • You can also click Password Generator to create a strong, random password.

  4. Click Create User.

Step 2: Assign User to a Database

  1. On the same page, find Add User To Database.

  2. Select the newly created username and the database you want to assign it to from the drop-down menus.

  3. Click Add.

Step 3: Set Database Privileges

  1. On the next screen, assign privileges for the user.

    • For full access, check All Privileges.

  2. Click Make Changes (or Next Step).

  3. You’ll see a confirmation that the user has been successfully added to the database.

Tip: Keep the username and password safe, especially if using this for a live website or application.
