Step 1: Log in to Cloudflare

Step 2: Select Your Domain

  • From the dashboard, you will see a list of your domains

  • Click on the domain you want to manage

Step 3: Open DNS Settings

  • In the domain menu, click on DNS

  • This will open the DNS management panel where all existing records are displayed

Step 4: Add or Edit DNS Records

  • Click Add record to create a new DNS entry

  • Select the appropriate record type:

        A Record: Points your domain to an IP address
       CNAME: Points a subdomain to another domain
       MX: Used for email routing
       TXT: Used for verification, SPF, DKIM, and security settings

  • Enter the required Name and Value/Content

  • Set TTL (Time To Live) to Auto unless specified otherwise

  • Choose proxy status:

    • ???? Proxied (orange cloud): Enables Cloudflare security and performance features

    • DNS Only (grey cloud): Used for email and services that do not support proxy

  • Click Save

Step 5: Verify Your DNS Records

  • Ensure all required DNS records are correctly configured

  • Wait a few minutes for DNS propagation to complete globally

  • Always copy DNS records exactly as provided by your hosting or service provider

  • Keep TTL set to Auto unless instructed otherwise

  • Do not proxy MX records (keep them grey cloud) for proper email functionality

  • DNS changes may take a few minutes to fully propagate worldwide
